Rash : Sade isn't one to think things through. The moment something pops into her head, she's going to do it, no matter the consequences. She's eager and a little bold, making most of her decisions rather extreme. If there's a cave - she's going in. New resident? Prepare to be Sade-tackled! This little Arcanine knows no bounds, and absolutely no sense of 'personal space'. If she's in the area, you better watch out, because chances are chaos and insanity are close behind.

Adventurous : With her brave nature and impulsive personality, Sade's always quick to explore. She gets bored sitting in the same place for long (unless she's reading of course), and prefers running around town causing havoc as opposed to sitting inside her home like a good little girl. More often than not, she stays out till odd hours of the night, getting into some of the town's more strange activities (late night tree climbing anyone?). She sleeps very little, as sleep is far too boring for her. With her seemingly endless amount of energy, it isn't uncommon to see Sade bouncing throughout the town.

Childish : Overall, she's a rather childish and immature individual. She refuses to grow up despite being an official adult. Sade would rather get into trouble than sit around having normal conversation like a normal adult. If she's around, there's sure to be something crazy going down, whether it be harassing other residents or causing accidental damage to property. Pranks and tricks are among her favorite activities, often befalling unsuspecting victims.

Gentle : Despite all her rather energetic and troublesome traits, this Arcanine can be surprisingly gentle and caring. She'll drop everything for a friend - even pulling off the century's next best prank or stunt. Even if it's a rather silly matter, Sade doesn't mind lending a paw to someone she cares about. For all she knows, she might have fun or even learn something for once. Ever since losing her family after selfishly pushing them away, Sade's found herself far more eager to spend time with others and value their company. As a result, she's become fiercely loyal to anyone she considers even remotely close to her, treating her friends with care and kindness, unless they're her next target for a prank, then all bets are off.

Playful : As obvious as the blue eyes on her face, Sade is one of the most playful characters you'll meet. She can hardly take anything serious, preferring to joke around and tease others than simply talk with them. Nothing makes her smile more than poking gentle fun at her friends. Although she means it in all good fun, sometimes her sarcasm and teasing offends others, in which case she's quick to apologize.

History :

Sade was born into a larger than average family. Being one of the middle children, she typically felt ignored and forgotten; her older sibling would outshine her in every respect, and triplet younger siblings were mollycoddled and constantly the center of her parents’ attention. As a result, Sade spent much of her childhood separating herself from the family and playing alone. However, as she had a very active imagination, she was never really “alone”. She’d have her imaginary friends around to go adventuring with. Being on her own turned out to be something she enjoyed and valued above spending time with family.

As she grew older, her made-up friends slowly faded away, only to be replaced by books depicting all sorts of adventures and thrill-seeking heroes. Her favorite stories where ones that had all sorts of mysteries, requiring quite a bit of thought and detective work, and even then having a surprising twist at the end. Inspired by the heroes and heroines of the short stories and novels she collected, Sade was determined to make them a reality in her own life, taking on anything that was thrown in her path and doing absolutely everything, at least once.

At the age of eighteen, Sade found herself orphaned. While she had been out giving surfing a try (which turns out she wasn’t very good at anyways), the volcano on Cinnabar Island erupted, leaving her both without a family and a home. She found herself feeling a twinge of regret for pushing them away and essentially ignoring their existence. However, she refused to let the tragedy put a damper on her life. She took the loss as a sign that it was time for her to move on and start on her own escapade.

Closing her eyes, she held her breath and randomly selected a town on a map. After a few seconds, she slowly peeked open one eye and exhaled. Pokette Town. Smiling to herself, she threw the map unceremoniously in her traveling bags and set out immediately for what she hoped would be an adventure.

Hobby :

When Sade isn’t reading mystery novels or stories of grand adventures, she’s off living in her own fantasy world - playing pranks, climbing tress, hiking through forests, hide and seek, etc. Since she spent most of her childhood alone, she can be a tad bit immature and act childish, but despite that, she truly enjoys hanging around with others and socializing with them.

Occupation :

When she moved to Pokette town, Sade had no job whatsoever, merely living off the fortune she had inherited from her family like a spoiled little brat. However, as fate would have it, she met the Munchlax Ile and became his apprentice. She learned several culinary skills and dreams of becoming a master chef despite her apprenticeship being over. Currently she works at The Roost as a waitress in hopes of gaining some experience in the restaurant business, despite The Roost being a simple cafe. She hopes to soon upgrade her job to working at Jacques' (a friend of Ile's) high-end restaurant in town.

Favorite food : Anything spicy (although she's not a fan of Mexican food, she prefers Thai or other Asian cuisine)

Favorite berry : Cherri berry

Catchphrase : 'Love' (ie. "What'cha up to, love?")

Accessories : Piercings on her left ear not featured here (she's recently become fond of piercing parlors and plans to add to her "collection")

Likes : Sade enjoys adventurous activities in general, but her favorites include:

- Running long distance, such as cross country, because she enjoys testing her endurance and building on it.

- Climbing trees, especially tall ones; they have the best views all around and are great spots to read in.

- Rock climbing, which she acquired a talent for while living on Cinnabar Island; the slopes of the volcano were excellent practice, before she figured out it was still active of course.

While she's quite active, Sade also enjoys partaking in less taxing activities. As she's generally always been on her own (by choice, since she felt held back by others), she can occasionally be considerably lazy; she does things when she'd like to and not a minute sooner. Some of her favorite relaxing activities include:

- Reading of course. The heroes and heroines of books she reads inspires her to try out different activities that maybe she normally wouldn't have thought of.

- Sleeping outdoors, which may sound a bit weird, but which she finds relaxing. She enjoys listening to the sounds around her and imagining herself on some far off adventure to lull herself to sleep. She has the most exciting dreams outside.

- Writing her own epic stories. She may not be very good at it, as she finds it difficult to put her ideas down on paper, but she gets a kick out of creating impossible schemes and scenarios with her wild imagination.

Dislikes : Like anyone, Sade has things she can't stand doing, some of which include:

- Sitting perfectly still. She hates being required to be still and silent. Even when she reads, she's lying down, constantly changing position.

- Losing to others, because she considers it a blow to her pride. Despite that, she's not a sore loser. She takes her loss with grace, but is sure to practice whatever it is with determination so that next time, she'll do better. This works the other way around as well. Even if she does win, Sade does her best not to rub it in others' faces. She's surprisingly humble, having kept to herself as a child.

- Uncomfortable places to sleep, which according to her, are the worst of the worst. Uncomfortable beds and couches just shouldn't exist.

- Overly tight clothing comes in second to uncomfortable sleeping spots. The tighter the clothing, the harder it is to move around. Tight clothing of course is necessary for some things, running among them, but she feels there should be a limit as to how tight things should be. Restricted movement is certainly one of her least favorite things.

- Overly lose clothing. Sade doesn't like to feel bogged down with fabric either. Too much clothing can also restrict movement; she likes a nice balance between the two. She's surprisingly picky about clothes, rarely ever buying anything new until after she's tried it on at least a dozen or so times. Clothing may be one of the few things she isn't impulsive about.

Additional information :

- As Sade is a Fire type, it's expected of her to detest water. However, Growlithe is a dog Pokemon, and growing up on and island, Sade learned to tolerate the water. While she isn't overly fond of it, she doesn't mind going for a brief swim or getting wet in general. However, given the choice, she would obviously prefer staying on dry land.

- Even though she was on her own for the entirety of her life, that isn't to say she was antisocial and didn't have friends. She had a select few of Pokemon she enjoyed hanging out with, but none she deemed worthy enough to bring adventuring with her. She felt they would slow her down or not enjoy themselves as much as she did. However, after her family was destroyed in the eruption, Sade's found herself wanting to be more accepting of others so that perhaps she can make closer friends than she had before.

- Another thing you may suspect of her, is that she would be self sufficient. However, all that time on her own really didn't do her any good in that regard. She tends to act on impulse and forgets to do the thinking until it's far too late. For example, she's horrid with cooking and doesn't understand the concept of how to grocery shop. All too often, she buys too much only because it's "on sale" and it ends up spoiling, which of course she doesn't notice until she's halfway through eating whatever it was.

- While it's expected of her to be a tomboy, Sade still considers herself to be quite girly. She likes all the normal things a girl would at her age, including clothing (despite how picky she is over it) and a fondness for cute things. However, more often than not, only her tomboyish character is reflected as her outside personality.

- Since she's moved into Pokette, she's become the apprentice of another resident, Ile Jacobs. She's made it through his basic training and can now cook considerably well - although not as well as her teacher of course! She still has a long way to go before she can consider herself a full fledged chef and master of all culinary arts.
